Description

This President's Day activity is a STEP BY STEP and print and go mini unit on The Job and Duties of the President. It also includes election day activities, and a few writing assignments, including "If I were the President...". It works great for Election Time, President's Day or anytime learning about the government. The unit is NO PREP, DIGITAL and PRINTABLE and I have done the hard work for you.

Many of the activities are DIGITAL.

What would you do if you were President? Would your classmates vote for you? The lessons for this unit stem around that question.

This unit is interactive and has tech and movement built in. Students will learn the job of the President, about laws and rules, slogans, there are opportunities to write, vote and more.

The lessons are so detailed a substitute can handle them!

Differentiated Lessons included, no need to figure it out on your own.

Here is what is included...

  • Step By Step Lesson Plans
  • Activities are Digital and Printable
  • Journal Entry Prompts and Pages

After students learn about the job, slogans and life of a President, they will most likely still want to be a President. Have them fill out this sheet to campaign for themselves. Even have them present it to the class. This can lead up to a class vote. They can vote for a class president or for their favorite candy bar. The final project will look great on the bulletin board.
