Principal Parts of Verbs ActivInspire

This is an attractive ActivInspire/Promethean Board lesson that steps through whole group guided instruction, guided practice, then independent practice. The first page is used as the anticipatory set to introduce/review verbs. The third and fourth pages are an introduction to the four forms of verbs (present tense, present participle tense, past tense, and past participle tense). The fifth, sixth, and seventh pages provide charts to explain regular and irregular verbs in each tense. The eighth page is an interactive page where the students can drag hidden verbs from behind the wall and place them in the appropriate categories. The ninth and tenth pages provide seat work for students to complete and go over together. Page eleven gives instructions to complete a homework page (you may wish to use a page from your reading series).
