Chance and Probability Presentation and Digital Activities
The following activities/worksheets are included:
* Probability paddles (This is a fun and engaging way for students to answer verbal questions on everyday events and their chance of occurring. Students can generate their own events, use printed events included as a sorting centre or combine this resource with my Probability Presentation).
* Probability sorting centre (Students will sort everyday events under headings to determine whether they will happen, won't happen or might happen (Year One) or are likely, unlikely, certain or impossible (Year Two)
* Probability memory matching centre - Students will match statement cards that feature words such as unlikely, likely, impossible, possible and equally likely to the cards that feature jars of jellybeans and coloured spinners.
* Probability sort x 2
* Probability foldable activity
* Jellybean probability activity worksheet
* Probability and chance mini book - students will write definitions for the different probability terms such as will happen, won't happen, might happen, likely, unlikely, certain and impossible and draw events that match the probability.
A heads and tails chance experiment as well as a dice rolling chance experiment are also included in the mini book.

Year Two: Identify practical activities and everyday events that involve chance. Describe outcomes as ‘likely’ or ‘unlikely’ and identify some events as ‘certain’ or ‘impossible’
ACMSP047
Year Three: Conduct chance experiments, identify and describe possible outcomes and recognise variation in results
