What is Puzzle of the Day?
Challenge your students with a puzzle to solve each weekday throughout the year! These can be used for early finishers, morning work, centers, or to engage students during a whole group lesson. Use Puzzle of the Day as an enrichment activity. Give your students the opportunity to practice the critical skill of problem solving.
The {monthly themed} puzzles/brainteasers included in this resource will help your students practice logical thinking and deductive reasoning skills, plus perseverance! There are a variety of puzzles that include logic puzzles, ciphers, anagrams, hink pinks, ditloids, sudoku, cryptograms, drop quotes, wordles, patterns, jumbles, crosswords, secret codes, various number and letter challenges, plus more! These puzzles will activate the brain and get them thinking! Please see the previews for a sample of some of the puzzles to see if they are appropriate for your students.
There is one {half-page} puzzle for each weekday (Monday-Friday) in each month. You can use the monthly cover to make a packet, or slice the pages in half to use one at a time. A complete answer key is included for every puzzle.
