What educators are saying

I enjoy when my students are able to work with a color by number activity because they are more engaged; ultimately they want to get to the coloring part. Thank you!
The questions were fully aligned with the standard I needed to review and the practice was excellent for the students.

Description

Students will solve 15 problems involving Pythagorean Theorem. Problems include finding a missing leg or hypotenuse, converse, distance between two points and word problems. When they get their answer they will look at the bottom of the box. Whatever answer they got they will find on the coloring picture. The color at the bottom of each box with the matching answer is what they will color the coordinating section on the picture.

**Please note: All problems are rounded to the nearest tenth if necessary.

This is a fun way to review Pythagorean Theorem and color a picture! This also makes a great substitute plans activity or a review!

This resource includes:

  • Worksheet with 15 practice problems
  • Blank worksheet with space for student work
  • Coloring Page
  • Answer Key
  • Answer Key with detailed steps shown
  • Colored Example of end product

Options for using this resource

Students will get to practice using the Pythagorean Theorem and can have a brain break with the coloring. Worksheet can be used without the coloring sheet as a quiz as well. This makes a great substitute activity!
