What educators are saying

This was a very in-depth description of the concept. It was more in-depth than I needed, but I was able to trim it to perfectly describe and inform my students in a way that made it easy to understand. The visuals were well made. I will be using it each year in my unit.

Description

This PowerPoint explains the rain shadow effect where moist air gets blocked by mountains. Includes photos and diagrams of how rain shadow affects the windward and leeward side of a mountain range, examples of rain shadow around the world, and a five-question review quiz at the end. Great addition to your Earth Science unit.
