What educators are saying
I have used this with my tier 1 RTI group for enrichment. They thought it was so funny and it was a great way to help students practice reading with expression.
My students had heard this story at the beginning of the year and loved it! We did this play towards the end of the year. We had to "audition" for the different main characters. Students had a lot of fun with this play!
Description
This word document contains the reader's theater script for the picture book Smelly Socks by Robert Munsch. This is a very funny story and students will love reading the lines and acting out the parts! The best part is, they will be building and strengthening their reading fluency without even realizing it!
The way the script is currently set up, there are 20 narrators, along with numerous other character parts. This script could easily be adapted to fit larger or smaller class sizes.
