*Reading Comprehension Boom Cards Bundle, High Interest Passages, Grades 4-8

This is a bundle containing 3 sets of digital Boom Cards. Each set contains 7 high interest passages (total of 21 passages) that are great for reluctant readers in grades 4-8. Text evidence is hard to do via distance learning, and this resource provides interactive practice where students can drag & drop the highlighting onto the text to justify their answers, plus so much more! There is a lot of value in this bundle!

Each passage is infused with Tier 2 Vocabulary context clues, has text evidence questions, WH questions, inferencing, main idea & details, and compare & contrast. Some passages include multiple meaning words and prefixes/root words.

Series 3 has writing prompts with scenarios requiring students to use what they learned within the passage and construct a lengthier response using details from the text. Students can either type their response or construct an oral response.

Each passage fits on 1 slide. The question slides also have the passage off to the side for easy reference without having to click back and forth (avoids frustration).

Questions are presented in the following interactive formats: Drag & drop, multiple choice, True/False, and fill in the blank. Passages contain mainly colorful photos. (Sorry - I have an issue with babyish clipart)
