What educators are saying

I use this resource as an independent activity for my kiddos during reading workshop. Wonderful! And I love that I can edit them too!

    Weekly Reading Logs:

Do you want to take your students reading logs to the next level??? Check out these skill-based, weekly reading logs! These reading logs help your students use critical thinking skills to develop and analyze their reading. Help your students think deeply and actively comprehend what they read by pairing the week's reading log to your weekly learning targets!

    How it works:

First, choose which template to use for the week. Students will have this in their guided reading or take-home folder. Students are asked to read each night. (Monday -Thursday)..... But one night out of the week they fill out the graphic organizer for one of the books they read at home.

Great for small group goal setting with your guided reading groups or use as a whole class.

    Two Versions Included:

Editable directions with writing lines to record titles

    or

a Non-Editable, without writing lines. (Color one book for each book read)

Each template has an editable reading goal. Set a class goal each week or individualize your student's goals. The choice is up to you!

Be sure to check out the preview!
