Increase students' reading comprehension with these reading comprehension questions for 3rd, 4th, 5th, & grade. These comprehension question stems will help you ask questions and facilitate discussions that encourage higher order thinking while covering ALL of the informational and literature standards for K, 1, and 2nd grade.

Avoid asking the same questions over and over again by having these question stems available during any read aloud or guided reading group as a support to asking deeper questions that go beyond basic recall.
