What educators are saying

Thank you so much for this comprehensive resource. I started using these with my intervention groups. I love the review of skills and the practice it provides for my struggling learners. It is an awesome way for them to implement different skills.
Wow, I cannot say enough about these slides and notes!! I have always been a fan of Jennifer Findley's work, but she has knocked it out of the park with these!! It's totally worth the investment!

    Description

Reading isn’t a one-size-fits-all skill, and you’ve likely honed a teaching style that works best for you and your students. But sometimes you just need some extra support along the way.

These reading teaching slides give you that much-needed support.

    *****PLEASE READ!

    • The slides are NOT editable.
    • The texts included in the slides are NOT available at multiple levels.
    • If you teach 4th grade and have students who read significantly below grade level, I DO NOT recommend this resource.

NOTE: This set of reading teaching slides is a GROWING bundle. A few more slides will be added in 2024. Buying now will lock in the lowest price AND you will still get the new slides as they are finished. The final price will be at least $65.

These reading teaching slides will help:

    • Ensure you are teaching to the rigor required in 4th and 5th grade
    • You learn the vocabulary and reading skills yourself
    • Guide your reading instruction and give students plenty of practice

You can use them all or choose the ones that work best for your students and your standard requirements.

There are currently 62 (yes 62!) reading teaching slide decks with optional student guides included.

    About the Teaching Slides Presentations

The slides included in this bundle are perfect to teach or review reading skills.

Project them on your interactive whiteboard for a whole group lesson OR assign them independently through your digital learning platform as a reference for your students.

The teaching slides include a variety of types of slides…

    • Vocabulary
    • Questions
    • Answers
    • Short stories
    • Longer stories
    • Brainstorming
    • Interactive activities

The presentation encourages participation by asking students questions and encouraging them to answer as they go. Add in more interactive elements as needed to keep your students engaged and interacting with the content (a cheat sheet of engagement tips is also included to help with this!)

***If you teach 4th grade and have students who read significantly below grade level, I do not recommend this resource.***

    About the Guided Notes

The guided notes/student handouts match the presentations and allow students to fill in the blanks while you go through the slides.

These are optional but recommended for engagement and accountability.

After the presentation, these student handouts also become a student reference for the skill!

The Teaching Slides are NOT Editable

The presentations are NOT editable. Due to copyright restrictions and the terms of use of design components used, the presentations are not editable. You are able to delete or reorder slides as needed.
