Reading Tracker Bookmarks | Alternative Reading Log

What educators are saying
Description
Reading logs, while they have been used for a long time, are not as helpful in tracking student reading as they could be! These reading tracker bookmarks are a great reading log alternative without killing a love for reading in the process!
No parent signatures, no reading requirements - just a quick way to track their reading progress with each book they choose! Students simply write the title on the spine, their name on the back, and each day fill in the date and the page they STARTED reading on. This allows them to see reading trends and how quickly they are finishing books.
I have my students put these up on our "classroom bookshelf bulletin board" so we can see as a class how many books we have finished. My students love to see the stack grow and even go there for book recommendations when they need one! Kids could also keep these on a binder ring as a personal reminder of how many books they have finished that year.
