What educators are saying

This was used as a real-life math project and to give my students a sense of expenses after graduation.
I didn't get a chance to use this in my financial literacy class, but it looks great! I appreciate all the different things we 'forget' about in outfitting our first place. Helps students to realize there are plenty of expenses when moving out! Thank you again

Description

Tell students to imagine that they have just graduated from college, landed their first job, and are able to get their own apartment. Students use the internet to price out everything that they will need to get their place "move in" ready. There is no budget on this one, however teachers might tell students that they only have a certain amount of money to use. Blank floor plan included for students to "lay out" their purchases. Grading rubric included. Created as an end of the year PBL for my 5th grade class.
