What educators are saying
Students often confuse these three reference books. This resource allows teachers to assess student understanding of the purposes of each book. Great sort!
Description
This is a reference materials sorting sheet. Students cut out 15 different pieces and glue them into the correct column: dictionary, thesaurus, or encyclopedia.
INCLUDES: 1 Sorting Sheet, 1 Sheet with 15 different reference materials scenarios to cut & paste, and an Answer Key
For example, there is one that says: "Jackson wants to know when George Washington was born." The student should glue that under encyclopedia since that's the reference material they would use for that.
