Right Triangles - Soh Cah Toa (Sin, Cos, Tan) Introduction To Trigonometry Notes and Practice

This is a set that introduces the ideas of Sine, Cosine and Tangent. It includes:

*** Teacher Notes with all of the examples filled in covering Soh-Cah-Toa, setting up the ratios from a triangle, using a calculator to find the decimal value, using a calculator to use the inverse ratio to turn the decimal back into the angle, how to solve for the missing side and how to solve for the missing angle.

*** Student notes that match the teacher notes so that they can follow along do the examples as the teacher goes over them.

*** An in-class/homework assignment that has the same 4 types of problems on them that includes a complete answer key.

These would also be a really good handout to give to students to help them to review or prepare for the ACT or MME.
