STEM Challenge!
Students are challenged to create a robotic hand from general classroom supply materials that will be able to pick up a cotton ball without manual assistance. This lab supports knowledge of the muscular and skeletal systems of the human body as well as the engineering process.
They will define the problem, do background research, specify requirements, brainstorm, evaluate, prototype, and test their product.
A Collins Type 3 writing assignment concludes the lab.
