As a STEM coordinator, I am always looking for creative ways for teachers to integrate STEM engineering and design challenges into their classroom activities. I decided to work on creating STEM Engineering Challenge Packs for some beloved novels.
This STEM Challenge Pack is based on the book, "The One and Only Ivan", by Katherine Applegate. There are five challenges included in this pack:
Ivan’s Wooden Crate Challenge
Elephant Trunk Model Challenge
Wild Gorilla Nest Challenge
Animal Cage Challenge
Free-Standing Billboard Challenge
