Self Esteem and Self Concept Slideshow and Activities

This slideshow is the introduction to a self esteem and self concept unit or a great 1-time lesson for students' social emotional needs. It emphasizes the importance of having a positive self concept, how to help foster a positive self concept in their peers and the consequences of bullying and contributing to a negative self concept. This is one lesson for a block schedule or could be spread out to two normal class periods with the activities.

This slideshow includes a warm up, information on self esteem and self concepts, a video, video discussion questions and instructions for 2 activities relating to the topic. It is laid out in an engaging format that will keep students engaged whether they are in your classroom or watching via zoom.
