What educators are saying

I just started using this resource, but really like it already! The kids love the "challenge" aspect of it and trying to beat their own score and their peers' scores! Lots of practice gets done in a session! Thank you!
Absolutely love this resource as it provides multiple trials for my students to practice their target sounds. Thank you!

Description

INFUSE fun into your group therapy with these sentence-level articulation activities for the following speech sounds: p, b, t, d, k, g, f, v, s, z, s-blends, L, l-blends, r, r-blends, vocalic r, sh, ch, j, and th.

Do you find it challenging to keep your students engaged and motivated to practice their articulation skills throughout the entire session? Struggling to prep for your group sessions?

The problem with traditional articulation activities is that they can be boring and repetitive, making it hard to keep students engaged and focused.

These articulation worksheets are the perfect solution for you!

Plus, you can send the half-sheets as speech therapy summer homework for extra practice over the school break.

DESIGNED TO HELP YOUR STUDENTS GET HIGH TRIALS:

  • Increase sound repetitions at the sentence level
  • Build self-awareness of their correct speech sound productions using the self-reflection rating sheets
  • Complete the speech therapy homework sheet at home to increase practice trials throughout the school week

Turn these no-prep speech therapy worksheets into a fun articulation game to challenge your students to beat their speech sound practice score each round with a timer!

THIS ARTICULATION SENTENCES RESOURCE INCLUDES:

  • Traditional Therapy Approach Information About Implementation
  • Articulation hierarchy cheat sheet to help you track your student’s level
  • Articulation data tracking sheets of students' progress
  • Data collection sheets
  • Visual self-rating scales for speech sound productions to improve self-monitoring skills

Say goodbye to hours of prep time and hello to more time focusing on what really matters - helping your students succeed!

➡️ USE TIPS:

  • Use this with students exhibiting 1-2 speech sound errors. If a child shows more than two sound errors or many phonological patterns, consider a different speech sound approach for more effective progress.
  • Begin using these articulation sentence worksheets with children at stage five of the Traditional therapy approach.
  • Follow the articulation hierarchy in the resource when choosing the positions of sounds.
  • Include time for students to judge their speech sounds to incorporate self-awareness in the session. Do this before you do the articulation challenge game.
  • Take data on your student's speech sounds in sentences at the beginning of the session. Use the SLP data collection sheets to discuss progress with your students.
  • Give clear and specific feedback. For example, you can say, “That was a perfect L.” or “Oops, our tongue wasn’t in the right position, so I didn’t hear an L sound.”
  • If your students are rushing or not producing a correct sound while doing the speech therapy challenge game, let them know they won’t get points for any words with sound errors.

SLPS LIKE YOU SAID…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"I loved having this to increase the number of productions I was able to get from each child. The kids loved the competition.  After practicing in class, I sent them home for homework."- Linda

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"I love this!  It's very low prep which is always a perk...but I just love that I can hand my students one sheet and they can get so many productions.  It has a little something for everyone.  Some think the silly sentences are funny.  Other students love the challenges.  My crafty students have something to color.  It's a great item to send home too!"- Emma A.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I found this to be a timesaver for me.  I can simply print a sheet off and send it home with the student for extra practice. - Jennifer G.
