This is a quick and effective way of creating a social contract for your classes. It's a modern update to the old "Class Rules" that used to hang in our classrooms as kids. Students will work in groups to choose the three most important phrases that build a successful classroom. You will keep track of how many times a phrase in chosen in the top three and glue the phrases to poster board or butcher paper to hang in the classroom. All students will initial to show their agreement. This is a great way to fit ALL of your class periods on one social contract so it can hang all day. You can refer back to it throughout the year for easy classroom management.
This is completely editable to add words or phrases that might work better in your community.
