Social Emotional Art Lesson Bundle + Growth Mindset

These children's literature and Social Emotional Art Lessons inspired lessons help students understand their feelings, life's challenges, and navigating mistakes through art. I've been successful using these lessons with early elementary grades K-3.

Lessons in this bundle follow this basic format:

• Read the story- Use the link within the PDF to a Safe YouTube link read aloud OR read in person if you have a hard copy of the book (maybe your library has it!)
• Easy upload to your distance learning platform (students can access the safe link if they have the PDF) or use in your classroom.
• Practice/Brainstorm with the Printable- These lessons are easy to modify from 1 day sub plans... to a week-long drawing and painting project. Use the printable as the primary art-making activity, for early finishers, OR as a brainstorm/practice sketch for a bigger unit project.
• Examples & Steps- Each lesson comes with examples of steps, expectations, and/or examples of art project exceptions.
