What educators are saying

Excellent quality as always! It make my worksheets stand out and helped students understand everything about eclipses. Thanks!
Working on a resource for the two big eclipses we have coming up in the next few months! These are perfect!

Description

Solar and Lunar Eclipse Clip Art: Explore a total solar or lunar event with your budding astronomy students. Study the path of totality and the zone of partial eclipse as the next solar event approaches. Design classroom posters to illustrate the differences between these astronomical occurrences. Create science lessons demonstrating the relative proportional sizes of the Earth, moon, and sun using this solar eclipse clipart.

WHAT IS CLIP ART?

Clip art (or "clipart") are digital images that can be imported into graphic design or desktop publishing software to create documents such as for classroom use. These illustrations can be hand drawn images that have been scanned into the computer or fully digital images drawn on a tablet and colored using graphic design software.

Classroom teachers use clip art to decorate their bulletin board, spice up a PowerPoint presentation, design worksheets and handouts, compose classroom newsletters, decorate your classroom, and create a class schedule with pictures for special needs students.

YOU WILL RECEIVE

• 23 color images in .png format

• 23 blackline image in .png format

• 1 Outer space illustration (shows relative proportional sizes of the Earth, sun, and moon)

• 2 Solar eclipse diagram (labeled and unlabeled)

• 4 Lunar Eclipse diagrams (2 labeled, 2 unlabeled)

• 1 Narrow outer space background (overlap with diagrams)

• 3 Proportional Images (Earth, sun, and moon)

• 1 Earth

• 1 Sun

• 1 Moon

• Total eclipse sun

• 9 Stages of total eclipse

NOTE

The proportional Earth, sun, and moon are relatively similar to one another but not exact. If made to be exact, the Earth and moon would be but tiny specs on the page and not usable in lessons. I've chosen to make the sun as large as possible to fill the page to give a sense of depth and proportion as best as possible
