Sorting for Halloween Smart Board™ Activity

Ah, Halloween! This is a Halloween sorting activity for the Smart Board™. It is suitable for primary grades (Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade, mostly). Sorting items into categories is a basic math skill. Students use the interactive whiteboard to sort Halloween items into two labeled trick or treat bags. A gentle “ping” sounds if they are correct. It could also be useful for children with autism, as it does not have any distracting bells and whistles.

There are 12 pages, covering 8 sorting activities.

• candy corn
• (cute) ghosts
• pumpkins
• spiders
• (friendly) monsters

**This is a file designed for the SMART (brand) Smart Board (not Mimio, Promethean, or ActivInspire). You need to have Smart Notebook software version 11 or later in order for it to work.**
