➜ You could always let students know that if their recipe is simple enough they could bring the ingredients to make it in class rather than do a PowerPoint or video presentation. This is COMPLETELY up to you. I would talk to students beforehand to make sure they don’t need an oven, etc.
➜ For example, in the past, students have made the recipe of a banana split. At our school, I have a place where I could refrigerate/freeze some items, but students would not need an oven or stove-top to make it.
➜ I let students know that they are responsible for bringing napkins, plates, glasses, utensils – whatever is needed IF they choose that method. It gives students more options to show off their creativity. Completely up to you!
