Description
Looking for a way to engage your bilingual students in the music room? This music word wall is the perfect addition to your classroom decor. This set includes over 300 music terms in English and Spanish that can be easily printed, laminated and displayed! Having a word wall in your classroom can be a great way for students to visualize music terms and to trigger memories from previous lessons. Some districts require every classroom to be equipped with a word wall, and if not, certainly it is an excellent literary connection and impressive to any administrator :)
This word wall can be organized 3 different ways: alphabetically, by category or by grade level. I have included titles for categories and grade levels, as these are my personal preferred methods. I make one section for each grade level and I place the terms under the grade level when they are introduced. Students are expected to know their grade level terms as well as the grades below them! You can also use your own die cut letters to divide the terms alphabetically.
To print, choose which numbered slides you need to complete your word wall. I have included a printing guide, or you can go through and decide which terms apply to your classroom. If you have terms that are not in this set, I have included blank term cards in each color. Then print on card stock or a heavy paper, cut on the dotted lines and laminate. Taking this product to Office Depot or Staples to be printed and laminated may give you a more professional looking product in the end. You can display just the English terms, just Spanish or both sets side by side.
