Description
This Bundle of Foldable Notes & Color by Number Activity is a great approach to review these Special Right Triangles 45°-45°-90° & 30°-60°-90°, while engaged in a fun coloring activity. On the cover side of the foldable, you have the review notes and inside is the Valentine, Winter, Fall / Autumn, Halloween , Butterfly and Daisies Color by Number activity. This is a no-prep ready-print-go activity! It is a fun way to review anytime of the year, to spiral back, or reteach at BTS. They can fold the activity when finished and glue/tape it to their notebook!
Suggested for grades 8 to 10.
This resource reviews the following:
Special Right Triangle 45°-45°-90° (answers are written in simplest radical form)
Special Right Triangle 30°-60°-90° (answers are written in simplest radical form)
Included in each of these resources:
Review Notes (outside part of the foldable) for triangles having 45°-45°-90° angles and 30°-60°-90°angles. Also included, the formulas for the Pythagorean Theorem.
Color by Number activity (inside the foldable) with 9 exercises with multiple choices.
Printable foldable activity with instructions
Two versions of the answer key in the pdf + 4 png to display on smartboard.
Differentiated:
The Pumpkin and Cauldron theme is easier to complete, as the CBN colors give hints for students to figure out (a good practice of life skills). While the Halloween Candies, Fall/Autumn, Winter and the Butterfly themes are more challenging and don't leave many hints for students to figure out the answers.
Suggested use for this resource:
This activity can be used as an early finishers activity, substitute assignment or quick review before testing or Back to school. If having several of these of different topics, it can be used as station activities, where you or your students choose which topics they should be reviewing before the end of year testing.
**Note: These have different themes, but involve the same exercises but in a different order (makes the answers different from one another as colors and themes are different).
