What educators are saying

My older students loved this resource and were really competitive with it! It really motivated them.
I like using this resource because it not only targets speech sounds but also categories and language development. Great for older students working on articulation goals.

Description

Looking for an easy, NO PREP way to target ANY SPEECH SOUND in words, phrases, sentences, or conversation? Or maybe you need an activity to help your articulation students generalize? This game does all of that, plus targets LANGUAGE too! And the activity is fun for a range of ages– upper elementary, middle school AND high school students!

Since 4 different lists are included (each with 12 categories), this game can be used across multiple sessions. There are two copies of the list on each page, so it's easy to PRINT AND CUT in half for 2 players to “compete” against each other.

A DIGITAL VERSION of the game is also included! It is a PDF with built-in, FILLABLE TEXT BOXES. The pages are in landscape orientation, which is perfect for a teletherapy platform or an iPad.

Here's what you'll get (in a zipped file):

  • A printable PDF
  • A digital PDF

Students will love thinking of their own articulation targets, which makes this activity fun and functional! The game element also adds motivation for older students to participate in this speech therapy activity. And as a bonus, NO PREP is needed!

SLPs and teachers like you have said....

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Katie B. says, "This resource really made my students have to think. It sparked a lot of discussion while also requiring them to practice their sounds multiple times. They had no idea they were actually "working" toward their goal."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Madelyn C. says, "Love these for all my students. They think they are playing a fun game and I can collect valuable data. Very versatile when discussing each item. Thank you!!"
