Spring Flowers - Art Lesson - Mother's Day - Valentine's Day - Craft Activity

Flowers can be suitable for many occasions. The arrival of spring, Mother’s Day, and Valentine’s Day!

Add a bit of colour into your school with the creation of magnificent flowers.

Students will work on patterns, repetition, and alternation.

This technique is one of my favourites, as you dilute the colours applied with markers using water. It makes a watercolour effect.

The creations are vibrant and original!

Materials:

• Washable markers
• Spray water bottle
• Black permanent marker
• Hard tempera paint
• Paintbrush and water
• Paper towels
• White pencil crayons - “Prismacolor” (optional)
