This packet of six activities includes four logic puzzles, one cryptogram, and one grid drawing sheet.
This product has been updated with the EASEL feature, perfect to use with distance or virtual learning! It can be assigned to students in a Google Classroom. You can either use the digital overlay already created, or create your own! For more information, read here!
The first logic puzzle is Coaster Craziness, in which users solve for which roller coaster is highest and at which theme park it is. (Factual!)
In the second logic puzzle, Summer Birthday Bash, the user solves for the birthday month, party place, and desired gift of three boys.
In the third logic puzzle, Summer Sports Success, the user solves for which girl got which place in which sport.
The fourth logic puzzle, Now That’s Hot, gives clues for users to find the hottest temperature recorded on each continent. (Factual!)
The cryptogram has twelve summer words and a summer quote to be decoded.
The grid drawing sheet is a picture of a surfing girl.
The puzzles vary in difficulty and are ready to print, copy, and use- no other prep necessary! An answer key and a few tips are included. These puzzles are great to use as a filler activity, with a substitute, or after a test is given, and yet they will still challenge your students’ minds. I hope you enjoy these activities!
