Description
Young children learn through play. That means you’re going to have a summer full of learning! This packet includes materials for a summer speech and language packet for preschoolers.
Included:
1 Summer Intro Letter
10 Learning through Play Activity Sheets
Beach, Picnic, Pool, Bubbles, Bikes, Chalk, Zoo, Soccer, Dress Up, Library
Each of the 10 included Learning Through Play handouts features a different summer activity. An intro letter encourages parents to use every day play to facilitate communication skills. Each page features one language idea, one speech idea, a target vocab list, and a concept to focus on.
Take it easy on yourself with those no-prep summer packet for preschool (and Kindergarten too) aged students. I don't send anything else home with my students. At the bottom of the intro letter I just add a blurb to remind parents of the current goals. As simple as 'Keep practicing your s-blends and categories this summer!'
Used without the intro letter, these handouts are perfect for leaving with parents at the end of a speech therapy session or posted in hallways and offices!
