Description
In this exciting team-building activity, your students will embark on a captivating exploration to uncover the meaning behind the Jewish "artifacts" within the walls of their very own synagogue.
As they navigate the hallways, nooks, and crannies, they'll be prompted to count the number of mezuzot, hunt for a seven-pronged menorah, and even introduce themselves to the groundskeeper. Through these missions, they'll gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of their place of worship.
This activity is completely customizable, giving you the freedom to personalize it according to your preferences.
You'll also receive two fun, no-prep icebreaker activities.
In Shalom BINGO, students will learn about one another through twenty Q&A prompts. They'll find out which classmates have visited Israel, helped build a sukkah, and can count to 10 in Hebrew. When a student answers "yes" to a question, they sign that box. If the answer is "no", the student asks a different question or moves on to another classmate. The process continues until the board is filled with signatures.
Classmate Scavenger Hunt includes secular prompts, including favorite colors, number of siblings, favorite foods, and more. Students begin by filling out their answers. Afterward, they'll seek out classmates who wrote down the same or similar answers.
