Level up your test prep with this test-taking strategies doodle wheel. This note-taking format makes test prep more memorable than regular test-taking strategies activities. Upper elementary and middle school students love it!

  • This wheel was created with math testing in mind, but it could be used for ELA test prep, science test prep and more.
  • It can be kept in students’ notebooks as a reference for the year.
  • You could even enlarge it and turn it into a test taking strategies poster!

The sections of the test-taking strategies wheel include:

This test-taking strategies resource includes:

  • Student wheel
  • A ‘key’ with suggested ideas to add to or clarify what the strategies mean; these are just suggestions and you can easily use different notes to fit your needs

    • A version that has “test-taking strategies” in the center, with all the sections blank, in case you have different strategies you want students use. (Save as PDF to print.)
    • A blank wheel with background, so you can add text to make your own wheels, if you’d like (for classroom use only - not commercial use)
