What educators are saying

Such a time saver for my introduction to The Crucible. I love when creators include the guided notes so I don't have to spend time making a sheet to go along with the slides I am already buying. Will use again. Thanks so much!

Description

**Updated to improve viewing content and to add CLOZE notes for student engagement**

This power point presentation provides background information on Arthur Miller's play, The Crucible, focusing on Salem, Puritanism, and Witchcraft. PowerPoint does not cover parallels with the Red Scare and Communism.

A good starting point for reading the play. I often print the power point and give it as homework for them to read and annotate. When students come in, we discuss what they learned.
