Let's be honest... teaching about Health Insurance can be far from exciting, but its importance is considerable. After seeing this type of activity played in similar ways, I thought it could just as easily be applied to health insurance. The game proved to be a lot of fun for the students while successfully reinforcing concepts like deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays and premiums.
Students will choose a Health Insurance Policy and then see how it compares when "life hits".
