Description

This is a Jeopardy review game for Lois Lowry's novel The Giver. The game is formatted using Smart Notebook and is made to be used with the Smartboard. All of the categories are pre-linked to each question slide, and each question slide is linked back to the questions, making it easy and quick to navigate in class. There is also a red bar that can be taken again and again to cross out the category selected.

This game includes one round of regular jeopardy, one round of double jeopardy, and a final jeopardy page. There is also one double jeopardy question for each round.

The categories for round one are as follows: Plot (general plot based questions), Characters (a character description is given and students must guess the character), The Giver Terms (Students are given a description of a term from novel, and students must guess the term, i.e. "One's 'job' for life"= assignment), The Community (questions specific to the community), and Jonas (questions specific to Jonas)

The categories for round two are as follows: Plot Part Two (same), Characters Part Two (same), Who Says It? (a quote is given and students must guess who said the quote), The Giver (questions specific to the character called The Giver), and The Family Unit (questions specific to families in the community and Jonas' family)

This is completely customizable! It is easy and quick to change categories/questions if there is something you want to add or take away!
