The Human Body- Organs

This human body unit is perfect for teaching elementary students about the body and organs! It provides detailed information in a simple to read and easy to understand format.

This unit focuses on the following organs: the stomach, the lungs, the brain, the heart, bones and muscles.

-The following is included for each of the 6 featured body parts:
a poster to anchor learning. an informational text article, a page of text dependent questions for students to complete after reading the article, and an interactive notebook page.

-There is a “Body Organs” booklet included for students to record their learning throughout the unit or to use as a unit review.

-A “bonus section” is included to use with students who need enrichment or to further your instructional unit. This bonus section focuses on an additional 9 organs (the spleen, gallbladder, small intestine, large intestine, bladder, pancreas, skin, liver, and kidneys).

For each of these "bonus" body parts an anchor poster and interactive notebook page is included along with a student booklet. *Please note* The informational text articles and text dependent questions are not included in this section.
