Description
Take your students on a Trip Back to the '60s with this interactive map activity! Students will choose a car to start, and that car will indicate if they are a Greaser or Social. From there, students 'travel' through the town and stop at the Nightly Double, the *Fashion Fountain*, the church, the Dingo Diner, the DX Station, and a stable for rodeos.
At each of these spots, students have a task to complete. Some will reveal information about the setting and background of the characters, and others will show them what it was like to live in the 60s (ex: music, slang, entertainment, fashion, pricing, etc.)
This activity is perfect for online students and in-person students. It's also great to go back and revisit throughout the novel to allow students to make connections to places and prompts. Everything is *EDITABLE* so you can use it as is, or make it more fitting for your class! Enjoy and stay gold :)
