What educators are saying

LOVE THIS resources......great for stuggling students and students who just love to color and want some extra credit
GREAT resource for my students with special needs. They were able to connect everyday items they see to elements. The visuals help greatly.

Description

A coloring book to familiarize children with Primary elements in the Periodic Table. Elements have a data page bulleting information about its facts, uses and discovery. The following page are pictures to color pertaining to those facts.

It covers the first 85 elements plus activities at the end.

You can find a lot of craft and hands on projects using the book at my blog here:

This book is also available in a bundle with the Science Rules Cards: Chemistry Edition for Kids and The Fearless And Simple Guide To The Periodic Table. Total cost for all 3 is $20 separately but the bundle is $15.

This book based on solid, proven concepts. By creating a foundation that is applicable to all sciences, students will be interested in chemistry, engineering and other technical areas and will understand why those are important because they have colored those elements and what those elements do in a non-threatening environment earlier in life. The data pages appeal to gifted learners or above grade students and all students love to color. Use the pictures and included periodic table to make lapbooks, unit studies, posters, booklets or art/science fusion units. Easily adaptable to varied learning environments.

We covered the elements that are used in society. Most of the elements were only isolated for a few seconds. Or they are too radioactive or unstable to be practical or safe. Considering that any page made for those elements would just list the numbers of particles and weight nothing else. There's nothing to say about it and nothing to color so those are left out.
