What educators are saying

My students love to play Price Is Right Games and don't even realize that they are learning valuable skills at the same time! I used this game with my secondary Essential Skills students after wrapping up our unit.
I loved this so much! I used it with my 6th graders for the last 2 weeks of school and they had a blast. We used whiteboards to help show the answers and they all had a blast

Description

This is a PowerPoint Price is Right game for the classroom! There is a Google Slides version as well.

It features:

* 8 Contestant's Row games

* 8 prize games (Danger Price, Any Number, Check Out, Easy as 1 2 3, It's In the Bag, More or Less, One Away, and Bargain Game)

* 1 Showcase Showdown (with 2 showcases of prizes)

* A script for an announcer! This has the description of prizes, answers/prices, step-by-step directions for each game)

This is mostly just for fun, but IS academic because it requires mental math, reasoning, estimation, and just money savviness in general.

You can edit it to make it appeal to the interests of your class, or with items you think they would likely know the prices of.

I allow all students to play during Contestants' Row. They individually guess the price of the item on whiteboards. Then I allow 2-3 of the students who guessed the closest without going over to play the next pricing game. I have them play as a team usually (just to give more students a chance to play).

*** This was updated August 2022 (all prices are adjusted for inflation and come from Amazon and Target)
