The Wizard of Oz Play Script

This "Wizard of Oz" play script is perfect for little "Wizard" fans! This includes Director's Notes, Cast and Costume Suggestions, Parent Letters, Student Script Booklets with personal covers, suggestions for music/stage setting and scene changes, student self-assessment and certificate/badges. This version of the play is intended to be humorous and is best suited for ages 5 to 9. This fun version is NOT based on the movie, that is copyrighted, it's a fun and cute version intended for children based on the original book story. In this version, I have included a Ballerina Munchkin, Mrs. Gulch gets hurt in a different way and the Bad Witch melts due to a wand. I have designed this to be very adaptable to numbers and set preference with suggestions throughout. My students and Drama Club members and their families have loved this version of the script, especially for primary students. This product does not include sheet music, only suggestions. Very cute and fun version of the story! (I recommend this "SCRIPT ONLY" version for those of you who want "script only and the accompanying guides" (as listed)- suitable grades PreK-3.
