Here’s what teachers are saying:

✏️ "My students used this during their social issues book clubs. units. They were given their own anchor chart to refer to. It is a great scaffolded way to introduce theme and for them to start doing the thinking in their clubs." -Susan T.

✏️ "Page 2 is particularly useful in the metacognition of theme--helping break down the thought process for determining theme. I normally use this resource in class, but I was able to use it for remote instruction this year. I displayed each page of the resource on my computer screen while I recorded a voice-over on Screencastify. We applied the learning to some familiar read alouds." -Stefani S.

✏️ "Theme can be quite tricky - especially for my young 3rd graders. Thank you for sharing this useful resource!" -Natalie D.
