Toilet Training Social Story Visual Supports Using the Bathroom

Children with autism benefit from supports that include social stories, task cards, behavioral reminders and supporting activities that help boys learn to use the bathroom, become toilet-trained and wash their hands. This product includes all of these supports as well as editable components! The pages of the social stories are full sized.

This packet includes:

• 3 social stories for using the bathroom, toilet training and hand-washing. You can choose to print the pages that you need!
• 3 visual sequence boards: first-then board (with 2 pages of picture reinforcers), all done board with 4 boxes and a visual sequence board with up to 12 boxes.
• Two pages of 2x2 pictures of reinforcers for first-then board,
• 4 pages of 2x2 pictures of visual sequences: using bathroom (toilet and urinal), toilet training, hand washing and sensory and behavioral reminders,
• 2 pages of task cards for using bathroom, toilet training and hand-washing,
• 4 pages of bathroom-themed sticker charts (color and b&w) light-skinned and dark-skinned options)-you provide stickers,
• 4 pages of tiered worksheets for behavioral expectations for the bathroom and for hand-washing,
• Editable covers (powerpoint), (light-skinned and dark-skinned),
• Editable page(s) to individualize social story, (powerpoint)
• Editable template for 2x2 cards so you can add your own reinforcers or your own images/pictures (powerpoint).
• Directions and table of contents.

Please note: this is NOT Boardmaker. You will need to print out the pictures and the boards, laminate them, cut them out and choose the ones you wish to use with the students. Please read the preveiw carefully and note the components that are underlined above that are editable. You cannot edit everything in the product.

You will need a zip extractor to open this file. I use winzip on my home computer and zip extractor for google chrome (a free app) at school. If you wish to edit the social stories or cards, you will need powerpoint to edit the editable components.
