What educators are saying

These are adorable. We used them as part of our culminating activities for our CKLA curriculum. The students loved choosing which animal they would decorate for the totem pole.

Description

Help little learners celebrate Indigenous People and honor their traditions by getting to create a class Totem Pole.

Included is:

-Slides introducing the Indigenous People, wht we celebrate and the different types of Totem Poles

-Slides with animal pictures and the personality types they represent on a totem pole

-18 different animals for students to relate to

-Bulletin board letters "Our Totem-ly Awesome Class" in different sizes and colors.

This is a great introduction to celebrating Indigenous People's Day! The fine motor activity is perfect for little hands working up their writing muscles. Students will tear paper and glue it to their animals to give it texture (Can color instead).

Hope you and your class enjoy it!
