Touching Spirit Bear - Introduction to Novel PREZI

Ben Mikaelsen's Touching Spirit Bear is a novel that many young kids today can relate to. This prezi presentation is a unique way of introducing the unit to a full class or even small groups. The presentation includes background information about the Native American tribe in the book, the Tlingits, as well as the basic premise of the story's plot. It also contains images of totem poles and includes some opportunities for discussion.
