Trigonometry: Valentine's Day Missing Sides/Angles Cut, Paste, Match Puzzle

Trigonometry Valentine's Day Finding Missing Sides and Angles Cut, Paste, Solve, Match Puzzle Act.

In this activity, students cut out 36 puzzle pieces that cover setting up and solving the trigonometric ratios to find the missing sides or angles of a given right triangle.

Each puzzle includes:

** A diagram with either a side and angle or two sides given.
** two pieces to find the missing sides or angles labeled x and y.

Students need to match the pieces together and use the given information to find the measures of the missing legs/hypotenuse or angle. Each completed puzzle has 3 pieces. When everything is completed students will make 12 puzzles.

This product includes two version of the puzzles - Version 1) Teacher answer key with all of the puzzles correct. Version 2) Student version with all of the pieces scrambled so students can cut them apart and reassemble them.

I have also included a three page worksheet that has the diagram so that students can show all of their work in a neat manner.
