These Premable cards will help your students comprehend the Constitution.
Preamble activities:
- Sequencing - Put the blue cards in order to create the Preamble.
- Matching - Match the blue cards containing phrases from the Preamble with the red cards containing the meaning of the Preamble.

Note:
In the Preamble, the British spelling “defence” is used. The American spelling “defense” is used in this file.
Options, options, options!
Color and black and white versions of the Preamble are included. These can be used as posters or handouts. There is also a smaller, half-sheet version that can be added to journals and interactive notebooks.
