Our school's Veterans Day program has been my absolute favorite event of the year for over fifteen years!
I have found that a program that celebrates Veterans is one of our favorite activities to bring together community members of all ages and students in our school.
I have used this script at our school-wide Veterans Day program, with approximately 600 students, faculty and members of the community in attendance for many, many years.
This super EASY TO EDIT script will provide an excellent framework for your Veterans Day program at your school.

Included in this Veterans Day program script are opportunities for many students to speak about the importance of honoring our veterans, as well as the history of how Veterans Day came to be.
Your band, chorus and orchestra students may perform patriotic music and there is also an opportunity for a guest speaker, usually a veteran, to deliver a special Veterans Day message.
