What educators are saying

These are great for talking points/social communication/morning meeting addition for my autism classroom. They provide opportunity to make choices as well as initiate, respond, and compare with peers. Visuals paired with the questions are great prompts for those who are not yet reading.
These are engaging and a great way for students to take attendance as they enter the classroom in the morning. They move their name under the icon of their answer to the question. Then during math we compare and make a graph. Great connections!

Description

Are you looking to set your students up for success? An errorless question of the day with visuals does just! These questions are easy to differentiate while incorporating so many important academic and life skills for special education and inclusion classrooms.

These questions can be used during morning meeting time. Have each student answers the question, telling us sometime they like (or don't like). Students can answer with their AAC device, by pointing to the visual, by completing one of the various journal pages (levels range from drawing pictures to writing a because statement such as "I like ___ because ___")

There is no right answer for a majority of these questions, so students are able to answer errorlessly. Each question includes answering visuals so both readers and non-readers can answer.

All questions have a consistent answer structure in order to help students answer in a complete sentence, either verbally or written through the leveled journal pages.

4 journal pages include options to draw, write, or extended writing.

There are 180 total pages of questions including two options, three options, and yes/no. Download the preview for more details!

Interactive digital question of the day now also on Google Slides! This is now included with this download at no additional cost.

In my classroom, students would set up the question each morning and during independent work time, each student prepared their answer, either on their device or in one of the adapted journal pages. During our morning meeting, we would graph our classes responses and see what we have in common with each other! This activity is so great for building classroom connections, language skills, and math too when you tally or graph the answers!

I used this with my high school special education class, but it would be appropriate for any grade special education, inclusion classroom or early childhood classrooms as well. Even my aides would be excited to see what the question of the day would be each day! It is truly a resource for everyone.
