    Description

This this bundle contains all 5 of my upper elementary vocabulary game packs. Each pack contains mini-posters, sorts, and games designed to introduce or review vocabulary associated with literature story elements, elements of drama, elements of poetry, text structures, and literary point of view. These packs sell for $4.50 each, so you essentially get one free by buying them altogether.

Each game pack contains the following activities for that pack's featured vocabulary:

    Vocabulary Mini-Posters

These posters contain the exact vocabulary words and definitions that are used in all the other games and activities in this packet, which makes them SO useful for introducing the vocabulary in your text structures unit.

    Flashcards & Mats

These flashcards can be sorted on either of the two included sorting mats (Mat 1: match definition to vocabulary term; Mat 2: match vocabulary term to definition). You will also make extra copies of the flashcards to go with the included game cards (discussed below).

    Flashcard Games

These games may be self-explanatory to us adults, but your students will likely need explicit instructions to play them. I've included a full-page directions cards for all three of these games: Pictionary, Concentration, Smack. As noted earlier, your students will use the flashcards included in this resource to play each of these games.

    Vocabulary Dominoes

Students match vocabulary terms to their definitions. Clearly labeled "start" and "end" dominoes, in conjunction with the student directions card, ensure kids can play independently.

    "I Have, Who Has"

This classic game can be played as a whole group or small group activity. Perfect for reviewing vocabulary before a big test!

    Guess-the-Word Card Game

Students read the clue to a fellow player, who must guess the vocabulary term. The reader then flips down the card's flap to determine if their fellow player guessed correctly. Game includes score cards.

"Spin it to Win It" Board Game

Players land on a vocabulary term, then spin to determine whether they will:

    • Act it out
    • Draw it
    • Use it in a sentence, or
    • Give a synonym & antonym

    Vocabulary BINGO

Played according to classic Bingo rules; can be used as a whole group or small group activity.
