Description

Volume and Surface Area - Cheat Sheet - Foldable - Model

*** Updated with improved figures ***

Create a foldable or just pass out the Volume and Surface Area cheat sheet, the choice is yours.

These task cards are a great compliment to the foldable.
Task Cards for Area, Surface Area and Volume

This is a cheat sheet or foldable to find the volume and surface area of right prisms, cylinders, pyramids, cones and spheres.

Also I have included my most favorite 3d model for a square and triangular pyramid. Students often confuse height and slant height. This model with the use of a pipe cleaner with end ALL confusion.

I have also differentiated the formulas for use in a wide variety of grades.

All of my students find it to be a great tool. I ask my students to place this sheet in their Math "Bible" so that they can refer to it as needed.
